When Ehandel.se met with the founders in August 2022, the company was in a different phase. They then described how they had left their previous employment in 2021 to work full-time with the brand.
Zaczess was at that time one of the fastest growing players in the Swedish equestrian market and the siblings worked intensively to establish themselves in the USA as well. The strategy then was largely based on organic growth through social media and extensive work with influencer marketing.
Today, four years later, the focus has shifted. While the previous years were characterized by rapid expansion, the annual report for 2025 shows that the company has now implemented strategic cost adjustments to create a more sustainable business model.
Turning to black figures
During the last financial year, the company's turnover decreased by 20 percent to 8.9 million Swedish kronor. The previous year, sales were 11.2 million Swedish kronor. However, this decrease is a conscious choice to prioritize profitability over chasing volume at any cost.
And the result of the transformation is clear. Operating profit for 2025 amounted to 404,988 Swedish kronor, compared to a loss of -779,143 Swedish kronor in the previous year.
Despite the focus on improving results, the sibling duo has not stopped developing their brand. During the year, the company invested in product development to prepare for upcoming launches. To strengthen the financial position for the future, a convertible loan of 5 million Swedish kronor has also been converted into equity.
