Sport and leisure group Wesports Group has announced preliminary financial figures for the third quarter of the year. According to the company, the results for the period are above market expectations, prompting the advance notice.

Net sales for the third quarter of 2026 are estimated at approximately SEK 1,285 million, compared to SEK 777 million during the corresponding period last year. This represents a total sales increase of approximately 65 percent, with organic growth accounting for approximately 22 percent.

Operating profit increases by 92 percent

The group also reports increased volumes on the bottom line. Adjusted EBITA is expected to land at approximately SEK 128 million, up from SEK 67 million in the same quarter last year, which corresponds to an increase of approximately 92 percent. The adjusted EBITA margin thus rises to approximately 10 percent, compared to 8.6 percent the previous year.

According to Wesports Group, the development during the quarter is explained by broad organic growth throughout the group and an increased share of own and controlled brands. In addition, the company points to cost control, operational leverage from increased sales volumes and positive contributions from recent acquisitions.

Continued acquisition agenda towards ten billion

The announcement follows a period of high activity in the group. In August, Ehandel.se reported how Wesports exceeded the billion mark in the second quarter with growth of nearly 55 percent.

In September, the e-retailer also secured a new credit facility of up to SEK one billion to finance continued acquisitions. The group's stated long-term goal is to reach SEK ten billion in sales.

All figures for the third quarter are preliminary. Wesports Group will present its complete interim report on November 12, 2026.
