He is taking over.

During the past year, the marketplace Tradera reached its highest levels in terms of both turnover and results. In the midst of this period of growth, the current CEO Stefan Öberg is now choosing to step aside after thirteen years in the position. Erik Grohman, who brings experience from a number of well-known e-commerce companies, will be the new CEO.

For the 2025 financial year, Tradera reports a turnover of SEK 626 million, an increase of 16 percent compared to the previous year. Profit for the same period amounted to SEK 130 million. It is with these established figures in the background that the current CEO chooses to leave the operational work to make way for a new management team.

2025 is our strongest year ever. Tradera is growing strongly, is profitable and has a clear direction ahead. This means we can take this step from a position of strength, says Stefan Öberg.

After steering the ship for just over a decade, he now transitions to becoming an active board member and owner. In doing so, he will maintain his commitment to the company through an advisory role. This change was developed together with the company's board of directors in order to secure continuity during the transition.

It has been a fantastic journey – from a challenging starting point to the strong and profitable company Tradera is today. It will now be exciting to continue contributing in a new role and support the company in the next phase, says Stefan Öberg.

Experienced Successor Takes Over

The one now taking over the helm is Erik Grohman, a leader with a background in e-commerce and the digital business world. In his luggage, he has leading roles at companies such as Unilever, Betsson, Lensway and the listed company Awardit, where he has had assignments both nationally and internationally. He will take on his new role on April 20. Until Midsummer, the two will work side by side to complete the handover.

Tradera has a unique position in the market and strong growth in Sweden and internationally. I look forward to building on the momentum that exists and taking the company further in the next phase, says Erik Grohman.
