It has been a eventful time for Däck365, which is based in Tvååker and Laholm. During the latest financial year, the company has not only significantly increased its sales volume but also carried out adaptations and renovations of its rented premises to meet the growing demand.
The financial report for 2025 shows that turnover landed at SEK 469.3 million, an increase of 31.6 percent compared to the previous year's SEK 356.7 million. At the same time, operating profit has strengthened to SEK 40.5 million, up from SEK 30.9 million the year before. This represents an improvement in profit of 31.1 percent.
Steine Gretarsson looks back on a year where customer confidence has been central to success:
The outcome is a result of continued focus on the customer's purchasing experience and efficient processes. It feels very fun that customers have once again voted us Store of the Year in our category in Sweden, while we also received the corresponding award in Norway, he says.
The development has been particularly strong in foreign markets.
In Norway, sales increased by almost 40 percent to SEK 81.4 million, while the Finnish market grew by as much as 65 percent to SEK 29.3 million. According to the CEO, this is no coincidence but the result of long-term work.
Our assessment is that the most important success factor has been our long-term focus on the customer's purchasing experience and efficient flows. At the same time, we have gradually built up both the brand and visibility in the markets over several years.
One of the most important pillars of the company's business model is to own the entire technology journey. Instead of relying on external consultants, Däck365 chooses to have all development in-house. This has created an organization that can quickly adapt to market needs.
We believe it is important to have all development in-house. We work closely together and that provides a good understanding of the challenges each part of the business has. It has given us a flexibility and speed that has been important in our development, says Steine Gretarsson.
Even though the company has now reached a new level financially, there are no plans to slow down. The annual report shows that management sees potential to increase turnover further in the coming years. There is already talk of expanding the range and looking at new geographical areas.
We believe that much is about continuing to be curious and always wanting to get better at what we do. We continue to see opportunities both in new markets and related product areas. We do not want to go into specific markets or product areas right now, but we see that our way of working works well and that there are many interesting opportunities ahead.
For those wondering if 2025 was a one-off, the beginning of 2026 provides a clear answer. Despite an uncertain world, tire sales have picked up considerably in the spring and early summer.
The season started early this year, but now that we have come a good way into the season, we can state that we have had a very good summer season. We see a clear growth compared to the same period last year. It feels extra fun that the development is strong in all our markets, concludes Steine Gretarsson.
