The Swedish accessories company Danira Telecom AB, best known for its e-commerce platform themobilestore.se, was declared bankrupt by Södertörn District Court on October 9th. Attorney Erik Osvald at Ackordscentralen has been appointed as the bankruptcy administrator for the company.

The business was founded in 2005 and has since its inception focused on the sale of mobile accessories and consumer electronics online. In addition to its own web store, sales have also been conducted through external marketplaces such as CDON and Fyndiq.

Turned to Loss After Record Year

The bankruptcy comes after two financial years with shrinking sales volumes and negative results. During the financial year 2022/2023, the company reached its highest level to date with a turnover of 35.5 million Swedish krona and a profit of 2.6 million Swedish krona. Previously, Ehandel.se reported on how the company turned a difficult crisis into record turnover when sales exceeded 35 million Swedish krona.

After that, the trend turned downwards. During the financial year 2023/2024, turnover fell to 28.2 million Swedish krona while the result landed at -3.3 million Swedish krona.

In the latest published annual report for the broken financial year 2024/2025, which ended in February 2025, turnover decreased by just over 40 percent to 16.7 million Swedish krona. The result after financial items then amounted to -750,000 Swedish krona. In the administration report, the company stated that the decreased sales were due to fierce competition in the market.

As early as June 2025, a bankruptcy application was filed against Danira Telecom AB, which was withdrawn at that time. As turnover decreased, the organization has also been streamlined from ten to two employees, and at the time of the bankruptcy decision, the company had no registered employees left.
