The turnover for TCM Online Retail, which sells bicycles in Tyresö, Söderhamn and online, reached SEK 113.7 million in 2025. This represents an increase of 33.5 percent from the previous year's SEK 85.2 million.
Operating profit also increased, rising by 36 percent to SEK 8.9 million, compared to SEK 6.5 million in 2024.
According to the company's CEO, Emil Thyrén, the company has been able to benefit from the difficulties faced by bicycle manufacturers, which has made it possible to put pressure on purchase prices. However, he points out that this is probably a temporary tailwind that will not continue in the same way going forward.
The gross margin has strengthened slightly compared to the previous year, which is explained by the fact that the manufacturing side of the bicycle industry is struggling with high stocks and declining profitability, writes Emil Thyrén in the annual report.
Investments for the Future
During the past year, the company has chosen to allocate resources to strengthen the organization for the coming years. The workforce has grown from an average of 18 to 29 employees. At the same time, the company has changed its financial system and moved its entire e-commerce operation, headquarters and store in Söderhamn to new and larger premises in the central parts of the city.
The costs of the move and the new system have reduced the result for the year and are expected to continue to negatively affect the figures in 2026. To cover expenses and secure continued expansion, the company has taken out a loan of SEK 10 million from Northmill Bank.
Challenges and New Brands
The new, central premises in Söderhamn are expected to make it easier to attract new personnel. During the year, the company has at times had difficulty finding the right expertise, which has occasionally affected both delivery times and the capacity of the workshops.
To strengthen its position in the market, the company has also brought in several new brands into its inventory.
During the year, we signed an agreement with Pon Bike Performance and started selling their bicycles in the premium segment of the Cérvelo and Santa Cruz brands, the CEO continues in the report.
In addition, the company has also entered into collaborations with the German manufacturer Focus and the electric bicycle brand Hepha.
