Last year, a collaboration with Spanish football star Álvaro Morata was a central piece of Flowlife's international growth. The strategy was based on reaching the elite first and allowing brand awareness to spread organically.
Now, e-commerce retailer Skinome is doing the same. The Swedish company, which sells skincare online, is partnering with the women's team of Italian football club Parma Calcio. The collaboration is intended to go beyond traditional logo sponsorship.
Parma Calcio Women is building an ambitious, new international team, while we at Skinome are building a completely new category within skincare – fresh skincare. We both know that it takes courage, perseverance and a long-term perspective to challenge established ways of doing things. The shared ambition is one of the reasons why this partnership feels so natural to us, says Lydia Engholm, CEO of Skinome.
Increased sales and reduced loss
Like Flowlife, Skinome combines its international expansion with positive financial development.
In 2025, Skinome's turnover grew by 73 percent to SEK 53.2 million, compared to SEK 30.7 million in 2024. At the same time, the operating result improved from a loss of SEK 7.6 million to a loss of SEK 1.4 million.
Growth has continued at the beginning of 2026, with e-commerce increasing by 40 percent. During the first quarter of the year, the company also reported its first positive operating result ever for an entire quarter.
