Scorett opens new store in Norway – expands in Oslo 2026

"Opportunity to test".

Scorett is taking the next step in its investment in the Norwegian market. During the winter of 2026, the Swedish shoe chain will soft-open a new department at the Steen & Strøm department store in central Oslo, before fully opening its doors in the spring of 2027.

Steen & Strøm is located in the Promenaden area, a district that gathers high-end retail. Scorett's new store area will be 500 square meters.

We are pleased to develop a concept together with Steen & Strøm, right in the heart of the fashion district Promenaden. Norway is a new market for Scorett, where we have established our store concept over the past two years. With sales at Steen&Strøm, it gives us an opportunity to test and establish new brands in one of Norway's leading retail districts, says Peter Blomquist, founder and CEO of Scorett.

The shoe chain, founded in 1989 and launched its e-commerce in 2011, currently operates around 80 stores.

Scorett offers shoe repairs directly in store or through its own shoemaker, as part of working more circularly. The company's goal is for zero percent of shoes to be discarded.

Our vision for Promenaden is to lead the Norwegian market in terms of customer experience, by offering several destinations for the millions of local and international visitors who come to Oslo. Our area is already a leader in Norway within luxury and premium retail, and I am pleased to welcome Scorett to our family of partners and brands, says Annette Lund, CEO of Promenaden.
