To build up the e-commerce business, a network of suppliers has been established. Purchases are made from auction houses in Europe as well as vintage stores in the USA and Japan. The business idea revolves around acquiring authentic designer details, such as buttons and logos from sunglasses, which are then remounted into new jewelry.
In addition to digital sales, the brand has recently taken a step into physical retail. Currently, Reworked Treasures has a pop-up space inside the second-hand store Re-tail Stockholm, at Sergels torg.
Continued Growth in the Annual Report
The latest annual report shows that the company continues to increase its sales.
In 2025, revenue amounted to 6.6 million Swedish krona, which corresponds to an increase of 16 percent compared to the previous year. At the same time, an operating profit of 2.4 million Swedish krona is reported, a decrease of 2 percent compared to the year before.
Empty Stock and Paused E-commerce
The latest collection sold out in just one week, a receipt that the hype surrounding the brand remains. The high pressure has resulted in the company recently announcing to its customers via social media that it is forced to take a break throughout June. The stock is completely empty and the e-commerce site is temporarily closed so that the company can go on a "treasure hunt" for new material before the next release in July.
The business model is based on the e-commerce releasing its collections in a limited extent. Once the products are launched, they usually sell out quickly, after which the webshop is empty or completely closed while waiting for the next delivery.
Purchasing behavior is also characterized by a customer base that largely chooses to return and shop again at these specific product releases.
