Last May, Twist & Tango celebrated 30 years in the fashion industry with an exclusive anniversary collection. The collection was created by influencer and PR manager Gertrude Tornvall, whose connection to the brand is deeply rooted as her mother built up the clothing brand Twist & Tango. Today, we see Gertrude fronting the e-commerce site again in the brand's latest collection.
Sales and Increased Profitability
It is Eliasson & Lundgren Aktiebolag that conducts the wholesale and retail sales of Twist & Tango's products, and they are in turn a wholly owned subsidiary of Sunny Tuesday AB.
During the fiscal year 2025, the company had a turnover of SEK 58.6 million. This is an increase of almost one percent compared to the 2024 turnover of SEK 58.1 million. However, at the same time, operating profit increased to approximately SEK 771,300, which is an increase of 74 percent.
The upward trend is partly explained by the fact that sales in the company's own channels have increased, where the physical stores have contributed.
The company's B2B sales are also moving in line with the company's strategy. Twist & Tango is implementing an international expansion with a focus on long-term partnerships outside of Sweden's borders. The combination of new collections, increased visibility and a growing customer base is considered to provide good conditions for further expansion.
New Requirements and Adaptation
The fiscal year 2025 also included investments in the company's sustainability work and adaptation to Agenda 2030.
The company has focused on developing processes for responsible production. One of the initiatives during the year was preparations for the requirements of digital product passports. This should lead to increased traceability and ensure that the company complies with new regulations.
Sustainability is integrated into the overall business strategy as a driver for innovation and future value creation. The company states in its management report that it is financially stable.
Looking ahead, the company aims for organic growth within current segments to lead to continued expansion and increased profitability in the coming years.
