The Nordic electronics chain Power has a total of approximately 260 stores in the Nordic region and continues to develop its business. In Sweden, the chain has recently opened five new stores in a short period of time. Now, Ehandel.se can report that the focus is also directed towards the Norwegian store network, where 65 of the stores are owned and operated by local franchisees.

To provide the local retailers in Norway with better conditions, Power is establishing a new role as Head of Franchise Operations. The position was assumed on October 1st by Lars Henrik Nilsen. He has worked in retail since 2006 and has held several roles within chain operations in both Norway and Sweden.

Close collaboration with the retailers

With this recruitment, Power's franchise team is expanded to four people. In addition to Lars Henrik Nilsen, the team consists of Franchise Manager Anders Normandbo, Operations Coordinator Ståle Frågodt and Project Coordinator Geir Erik Larsen.

We have 65 skilled retailers and they must have the best conditions to succeed. To achieve this, we need to be close to them.

Anders Normandbo comments on the initiative and highlights the new Head of Operations' experience in store operations.

Lars knows the daily routine of a store from the inside. He will be an important pillar for our retailers and will contribute to lifting these skilled shopkeepers to good growth.

The franchise model shows stable economic development for Power, which is owned by AWilhelmsen and Dolphin Invest. Recently, one of the chain's retailers was also recognized when the Power Årnes store was named Franchisee of the Year at the National Franchise Conference in Norway.
