The investment in the neighboring country follows a year of increased sales. In 2025, Power Norway generated 8.4 billion Norwegian kroner in revenue, compared to 7.3 billion during the previous year. Work is underway to complete and staff the new premises, with establishments taking place in new commercial areas and business properties.
We are opening five new department stores around the country, and thus continuing growth at full speed. Now it's full steam ahead," says Anders Nilsen, CEO of Power Norway.
The development in Norway is in line with the company's ongoing activities in the Swedish market. In Sweden, Power is working on a strategy to open thirty new units over the next five years. This plan includes recently signed agreements for new department stores in Trollhättan and Piteå.
In parallel with new establishments, the company is upgrading existing stores in Sweden. A recent opening in Luleå generated seven million kronor in sales on the opening day, with televisions accounting for two million kronor. The Swedish organization is also restarting the department store in Eskilstuna after an eight-week renovation. Ahead of the opening, the company has called in staff from other towns and hired security guards to manage the expected customer traffic.
