According to the recently approved annual report for 2025, the Group's turnover amounted to SEK 432.7 million. This represents an increase of 22 percent compared to the SEK 354.4 million in turnover the company achieved the previous year.
At the same time, operating profit fell to minus SEK 4.4 million, a decrease from the profit of SEK 1.1 million in 2024. The result was burdened, among other things, by costs associated with the integration of the acquisition Smålands Skafferi, which required warehouse relocation and resulted in double rent for a period.
New Expertise in Management
To navigate the company towards a more profitable business model, Outofhome is now choosing to bring in two new members to the board of directors.
The choice fell on Björn Norén and Patrik Hermansson, both of whom bring with them extensive experience from the food and retail sectors.
We are very pleased to be able to present both Björn and Patrik as new board members. Their combined experience will be invaluable to us in the phase we are currently in. Björn's commercial weight from the supplier side and grocery retail, together with Patrik's solid customer perspective from the HORECA industry, means that we are even stronger in our growth journey, says Per Grahn, Chairman of the Board.
The e-retailer's CEO also points out that the recruitments have more benefits than just formal professional knowledge:
Per said the important thing. But I would add that they both also live in Gothenburg, which shows good basic judgment, which is always good for a board. It is also very practical for them to be able to easily attend our board meetings four times a year, says Jacob Hillestad.
Background in Grocery and Restaurant
Björn Norén comes most recently from Almondy and has previously held several leading positions within the Löfbergs Group. His primary focus on the board will be the development of collaborations within grocery retail.
It will be incredibly exciting to get involved in Outofhome, which I have been following for a long time. It is a fast-growing company that challenges old structures with a modern and transparent approach. I look forward to contributing with my experience in driving commercial growth and developing strong collaborations within grocery retail, says Björn Norén.
Patrik Hermansson has his expertise on the buyer side, with a particular focus on hotels, restaurants and cafes. He is well acquainted with the sector's specific logistics needs and the daily challenges when it comes to purchasing.
As a customer in the industry, I know how important efficient deliveries, fair prices and smooth administration are. Outofhome has found a unique model that is very important for the industry. Being able to develop that offering from the board feels very inspiring, says Patrik Hermansson.
