On October 29, a bankruptcy application regarding Netthandelsgruppen Sweden AB was filed with the Stockholm District Court. The creditor Mekator Maskin Aktiebolag is behind the application.
According to information from Creditsafe, the e-commerce company's total debt balance with the Swedish Enforcement Administration (Kronofogden) amounted to 963,001 Swedish krona as of October 30. The majority of this amount, 954,901 krona, consists of two individual cases.
The single largest debt comes from Mekator Maskin, which has a judgment with the Swedish Enforcement Administration for just over 833,000 krona from this spring. Among the registered payment remarks are also smaller debts to suppliers such as PostNord and the auditing firm Grant Thornton.
Left Sweden
Netthandelsgruppen Sweden has been the Swedish branch of the Norwegian e-commerce group of the same name for several years, which is associated with, among others, the underwear brand Comfyballs. During the group's more expansive phase, Ehandel.se reported on how the business grew rapidly in the Swedish market.
However, in January 2026, it became clear that the Swedish business would undergo a fundamental change. Ehandel.se was then able to report that Comfyballs left Sweden after problems with warehouse management. The board of directors had at that time decided to liquidate or sell the business, resulting in the operation of the Comfyballs.se online store being transferred to the Norwegian company New Tonic AS.

During 2024, the number of employees in the company decreased from twelve to seven people, and in 2026, Netthandelsgruppen Sweden AB is registered with zero employees.
