During 2025, Netonnet generated sales of nearly SEK 6.3 billion. This represents a 7 percent increase from the previous year's SEK 5.9 billion. However, despite the strong sales growth, significantly less money remained on the bottom line. Operating profit decreased by 79 percent, landing at SEK 10.5 million compared to SEK 50.4 million the year before.
To provide a clearer picture of underlying operations, the company also reports an adjusted operating profit. After accounting for one-time costs, the adjusted operating profit for the full year 2025 amounted to SEK 23.7 million, compared to SEK 52.9 million in 2024.
Profit after tax plummeted by 82 percent, from SEK 55.1 million to a modest SEK 10.1 million.
One explanation for the pressured result lies in one-time costs of SEK 13.3 million. These funds were allocated to, among other things, furloughed personnel and severance pay for former CEO Josefin Dalum.
Impairments and Restructuring within the Group
Netonnet's development is taking place at a time when its parent company, Komplett Group, is undergoing changes. In February 2026, the group reported an impairment of NOK 536 million for the full year 2025. Of that amount, NOK 443 million was directly related to Netonnet, citing a delayed recovery in the market.
The group's quarterly report from April 2026 indicates that the focus going forward is on commercial measures to improve profitability and prioritize margin quality for Netonnet.
Taking Over Webhallen's Logistics
A restructuring is underway within the Komplett Group, where Netonnet is gaining increasing control over Swedish operations. Already in 2025, several of Webhallen's administrative and operational functions were transferred to Netonnet.
During the first quarter of 2026, the next major step was taken, as Netonnet acquired Webhallen's remaining central warehouse. In practice, this means that Netonnet now handles central logistics, while Webhallen only retains goods in its physical stores.
This was done as part of streamlining warehouse management and optimizing logistics within the group, the company writes in the report.
New CEO and Shifts in Management
At the beginning of 2026, several management changes were made. At the end of January 2026, Karl Eckerdal was appointed as the new CEO of Netonnet. He most recently came from the pharmacy industry where he was CEO of LloydsApotek, and replaced interim CEO Robin Malmqvist.
Changes have also occurred in the parent company. In March 2026, Group CEO Ros-Marie Grusén resigned from her position and Vebjørn Torsetnes was appointed as the new CEO of Komplett ASA. In April 2026, a change also occurred in the chairman of the board of Netonnet when Vebjørn Torsetnes took over as chairman of the board.
