In spring 2023, Kristina Lindhe left her role as CEO and creative director of The Lexington Company, after building up and running the company for over 26 years. The departure came in connection with the sale of Lexington to the Finnish group MGI.

Now she is ready for the next chapter and is starting over.

Not everyone may know that Lexington Company was our third company. A couple of years after Lexington, the desire to create something new has grown again – and recently I have been working on an idea that I soon want to share with you,

Kristina Lindhe writes on Linkedin.

E-commerce and home textiles in focus

The new brand is called Arctic Wool Design. The limited company was registered in May with Kristina Lindhe as CEO and her husband Tommy Lindhe as a board member.

The documents at the Swedish Companies Registration Office show what the new venture will focus on: design, development, marketing and sales of textile products for home decor and fashion. Sales will be made directly to consumers as well as through wholesalers, with e-commerce being highlighted as the main sales channel.

On the newly launched website, the company has opened a waiting list ahead of the premiere. There, the slogan “Warmly sheltered since 1994” is also highlighted, a hint to the couple's early business journey before starting Lexington in 1997.

It feels exciting, fun and thrilling to be at the beginning again. To let an idea take shape, step by step. The new chapter is called Arctic Wool Design. Soon I will tell you more about the thoughts behind it and what we are working on. I hope you want to join me,

Kristina Lindhe concludes.
