The establishment will take place in the Sydport commercial area, located at the southern entrance to the E20 highway. G&K Blanks Fastigheter, which is Jula Holding Group's property company, has signed a land transfer agreement with Mariestads municipality. The new warehouse is planned to offer the chain's full range, which currently comprises approximately 15,000 articles.
According to the company, Mariestad is a strategically important location to reach customers in the northern part of its home region.

Growing logistics to meet demand
The investment in Mariestad is taking place during a period of growth for the company. Earlier this year, it was revealed that Jula increased its sales by over half a billion Swedish krona in the first five months of the year, driven by increased customer traffic and a membership club that now exceeds five million members.
To be able to handle the increased volumes and a stated goal of opening around 20 new warehouses annually, Jula is also expanding its distribution center in Skara. The existing facility is being expanded by 46,000 square meters and will measure just over 225,000 square meters of storage space upon completion.
Long-term local presence
Jula Holding's owner, Karl-Johan Blank, who already has business interests in Mariestads municipality through the ownership of Stora Ek, emphasizes that the location next to the E20 is advantageous for both residents and passersby.
