E-commerce Company Trades Screens for Asphalt - To Sell Digitally

CEO Anders Wallstedt
Building community in town.

The e-commerce company Icaniwill has grown rapidly online, but now the training brand is choosing to trade the screens for the asphalt to continue its European expansion. In a new strategy, the company meets customers directly on the street in several European cities. The goal is to strengthen the brand's presence abroad and ultimately drive traffic back to the online store.

To drive engagement to its e-commerce platform and its own stores, the company has chosen to organize running events in several different locations. Starting in April, Icaniwill will arrange physical meetups in cities such as Stockholm, Oslo, Helsinki and Copenhagen.

The concept builds on an event held in Stockholm last year, where 300 participants gathered to train together. The events are taking place in collaboration with local gyms and the café chain Joe & The Juice.

Community has always been at the core of Icaniwill. Our running clubs are how we realize that locally, and the collaboration with Joe & The Juice allows us to scale that energy across markets. The Nordics are our home turf, and the running culture here is stronger than ever. We have quickly established a foothold in the Dutch running and training community and look forward to strengthening our presence and connecting with our engaged Dutch community, says Marketing Manager Ebba Lange.

Aims for Europe

By creating physical meeting places, the company strives to increase brand awareness and, ultimately, drive sales in its existing channels.

The initiative is not limited to the Nordic countries, but is also part of the company's plan to establish itself in the European market. A similar event will be rolled out in Amsterdam in June.

At the same time, the company is launching a new collection that is released today in the company's e-commerce platform, in the physical stores and at selected retailers.
