Timo Heimo assumed the position of CEO of Dollarstore in March 2025, but is now returning to Finland. On November 1st, Martin Sörenhag will take over the CEO role. He most recently comes from the position of Nordic Head at Flying Tiger Copenhagen, and has previously been CEO of the chain in Sweden. He has also held leading roles within Coop, K-Rauta, Apotek Hjärtat and Lidl.
Martin brings extensive international experience from retail and strong expertise in developing commercial concepts. At Dollarstore, we have launched several initiatives to strengthen customer traffic and increase the attractiveness of the concept. Under Martin's leadership, we can further accelerate the implementation of these initiatives, strengthen common working methods and support Dollarstore's long-term growth and improved profitability, says Tokmanni CEO Sampo Päällysaho.
In connection with the change, the group is also establishing a new role in the management team as chief strategy and transformation officer. Ulrika Göransson will take on the role. She most recently comes from the position of director retail and associations at OKQ8 and has a background as CEO at Teknikmagasinet and Zetas Trädgård. Ulrika will assume the role on September 1st.
