In connection with the company's previous report, plans for a trial period in Finland were presented, and now the company has opened up for orders on the new market via Cheffelo.fi.
The first meal kits will be delivered to households in the Helsinki region as early as September. This will therefore be the first market where the company chooses to use the name Cheffelo directly towards consumers.
This is a new strategic move, unlike the company's operations in Sweden, Norway and Denmark where e-commerce is driven under local brands such as Linas Matkasse, Godtlevert and Retnemt.
Strong cash flow creates room for expansion
The launch takes place during a period where the company is experiencing tailwinds. During the second quarter of the year, turnover increased by 27 percent to SEK 331.2 million, while operating profit climbed to SEK 44.4 million.
During the full year 2025, the company generated SEK 1.2 billion in turnover and delivered a total of 17 million meals to its customers. To manage the volumes, the company handles its own production. They use a self-developed technical infrastructure to integrate a customer-unique packing process, which is intended to streamline operations.
Aiming to solve the everyday puzzle
Through the company's app and website, Finnish customers will be able to choose between 150 different dishes each week. The company's CEO explains that the core of the offer is to save customers time when their schedule is full.
Many families want to eat varied, home-cooked food, but planning and shopping can be difficult during a stressful week. We believe that our flexible meal kit service can make everyday dinners easier for Finnish households, says Walker Kinman.
