Centra was founded in 2018 and has built a strong position in the Nordic region. In recent years, the focus has shifted abroad, with the United Kingdom serving as the first test market in the expansion.

Today, the British market accounts for 20 percent of total revenue.

We currently have high penetration among major fashion brands in the Nordics, which means that our next growth opportunity naturally lies internationally. The UK has proven that our positioning also works outside the Nordics. In three years, we have won 14 customers and built a market that today accounts for one-fifth of our total revenue. Now we want to repeat that journey in more markets,” says Sara Laurell, CEO of Centra.

Key Recruitment from Bambuser

To lead the sales effort, Louise Blomqvist takes over the role of Sales Manager. She comes from Bambuser, where she was responsible for global sales to large companies for six years.

After working to build and scale Bambuser's global business, I am very much looking forward to the opportunity to make a similar international journey with Centra. For me, Centra is one of the few European platforms in the segment that can seriously challenge the major global players and has also shown that it can win against them. The fact that the UK has grown to represent 20 percent of the company's revenue in just three years shows the international potential that exists,” says Louise Blomqvist.
