The stores become "local fulfilment hubs".

The electronics chain Power, which recently reported its first profitable year in the Swedish market, is now expanding its e-commerce offering. Through a new partnership with Wolt, the company is launching home delivery of consumer electronics in under an hour.

The service is enabled via the logistics solution Wolt Drive and is initially rolled out as a pilot project. It covers seven of Power's warehouses, six of which are located in the Stockholm area (Heron City, Barkarby, Nacka, Länna, Täby and Mall of Scandinavia) and one in Eskilstuna.

We are making our offer even more accessible. Customers expect low prices and quick access to what they need, and now we are delivering it to their door in under an hour, says Eddie Hernandez, Marketing Manager at Power Sweden.

Focus on Smaller Products

In the first phase, selected parts of the range will be available for fast delivery. The service focuses on electronics and accessories, while heavier goods are excluded.

Electronics is something customers have been asking for for a long time. In the first phase, we are not delivering large appliances such as refrigerators and washing machines, but smaller products that people need here and now, such as a new phone, hairdryer, coffee machine, speakers for the summer party or an electric toothbrush, says Linda Fors, Country Manager at Wolt Sweden.

The concept has previously been tested by Power in the rest of the Nordic region. The results from these markets show that corporate customers often use the service to quickly obtain work equipment such as monitors and printers, while private individuals primarily order products such as chargers and headphones in the afternoons.

Linda Fors points out how the collaboration adds a new function to the physical stores:

By combining Power's strong store network with Wolt's delivery technology and courier network, they are transforming their stores into highly efficient local fulfilment hubs.

Invests After Profit Announcement

The investment in new delivery options is taking place in an expansive phase for the company. As Ehandel.se recently reported, Power has managed to turn its Swedish business from loss to a profit of 54 million kronor in 2025, with a turnover of over 4.3 billion kronor. In parallel with the development of the e-commerce offering and the rollout of the Wolt collaboration, the chain plans to open several new physical warehouses in Sweden in the coming years.
