Outdoor company Revolutionrace exceeded two billion Swedish krona in turnover for the first time during the broken financial year 2025/26, with an operating profit of 422 million Swedish krona. Now, the fresh annual and sustainability report, along with the associated remuneration report, reveals how much the management received in salary and bonuses during the year.
For CEO Paul Fischbein, total remuneration amounted to 7.3 million Swedish krona, or 8.2 million Swedish krona if a stock option subsidy is included. The remuneration consists of 4.8 million Swedish krona in fixed base salary, 1.2 million Swedish krona in variable bonus, and 1.3 million Swedish krona in pension contributions.
This compares to the previous financial year when his total remuneration amounted to 8.2 million Swedish krona, of which the variable bonus accounted for 2.5 million Swedish krona.
Eliminated Air Freight Yields Bonus
The remuneration report also highlights how the e-commerce company's incentive program is structured. The CEO's variable compensation is controlled by 70 percent of the company's adjusted operating profit (EBIT) and 20 percent of cash flow. The remaining 10 percent is directly linked to four measurable sustainability and operational goals, with each sub-goal weighing 2.5 percent.
To achieve full payout on the sustainability portion, the share of air freight had to be kept below 5 percent, overproduction had to be less than 3 percent, the company had to use 100 percent recycled or FSC-certified packaging, and employee satisfaction (eNPS) had to exceed 35.
According to the report, all four goals were achieved 100 percent during the financial year. Each completed sub-goal generated 58,500 Swedish krona, which meant that Paul Fischbein received a full amount of 234,000 Swedish krona from the bonus model's sustainability portion.
Management Shares 21.4 Million
In addition to the CEO, the group management consisted of five other people. These shared a total of 14.1 million Swedish krona during the year, divided into 9.4 million Swedish krona in fixed base salary, 2.4 million Swedish krona in variable bonus and 2.2 million Swedish krona in pension. In total, remuneration for the entire group management thus amounted to 21.4 million Swedish krona.
The board's total fees during the same period amounted to 2.6 million Swedish krona, of which chairman Alexander Martensen-Larsen received 900,000 Swedish krona. In the remuneration report, the board justifies the salary levels with the need to secure the right competence for the company's continued development:
Successful implementation of the company's business strategy and safeguarding the company's long-term interests, including its sustainability, requires that Revolutionrace can recruit and retain a management team with high competence. This requires that the company can offer remuneration levels and employment conditions that are competitive.
Repairs and Resells Returns
The sustainability report also shows how the work behind the bonus goals is carried out in daily operations. Air freight has been virtually phased out and is now only used in extreme exceptional cases.
To keep down waste and overproduction, the company has introduced a circular handling of returns. Items returned with damage or defects are not discarded, but are washed, repaired and resold on the second-hand market through an external partner.
Since the end of the financial year, Revolutionrace has also completed the acquisition of the training brand Icaniwill for a price tag that could reach 875 million Swedish krona, and opened its first physical store in Germany.
