Akind, which designs and sells jewelry made from recycled gold and lab-grown diamonds, continues to increase its revenue.
During the 2025 fiscal year, revenue landed at just over 35.8 million Swedish krona. This corresponds to a revenue increase of nine percent compared to the previous year, when sales were just under 32.8 million krona. A large part of the revenue is generated outside of Sweden, with Germany emerging as the company's largest market, followed by Sweden, the Netherlands and Great Britain.
At the same time as revenues are moving upwards, the company is keeping costs under control. Operating profit lands at just over 367,500 krona, an increase of approximately 26 percent. Although the margin is tight, the company has delivered a positive result for the second year in a row after recovering from a loss of just over 2.3 million krona in 2023.
The annual report also shows that the company has navigated daily operations with slightly fewer hands. The average number of employees has decreased from eight to six people. The board currently consists of Anna Wallander and Kristofer Anderzon.
Aiming for Half a Billion
The company's core revolves around e-commerce sales, but ambitions going forward also extend beyond the internet. The long-term plan includes both physical presence and external capital.
We want to build an international jewelry brand that in 10 years will have a turnover of half a billion. To achieve this, we plan to eventually raise capital and accelerate further, Anna Wallander previously stated.
The company has previously tested physical retail through a reseller concept in Denmark, but the internet remains the primary engine.
We will always focus on e-commerce, but I also believe that we will be in stores around the world.
