Will stay until the end of the year.

Tobias Fransson joined the group in the spring of 2022 in connection with the acquisition of Blushme WooMe, and assumed the position of CEO on February 1, 2024. Vuxen Group now announces that the board has initiated the process of appointing a successor, as the current CEO has chosen to step down from the position. However, he will remain CEO until December 31, 2026.

I have run my own businesses for many years, and after just over four years in the group, including almost three as CEO, I want to once again have the freedom to control my own time and my own projects. The company is different today than when I joined, and it feels right to hand over now, says Tobias Fransson, adding:

Until the end of the year, my focus is on delivering and making the best possible handover.

International business grew

During Tobias Fransson's time as CEO, the international business and the WooMe platform have taken a larger place in the company's structure. Last week it was reported that Vuxen Group is launching in Austria, which is the next step in the foreign expansion that began with Germany at the end of 2024 and an EU site in 2025.

The latest annual report for 2025/2026 showed that foreign sales constitute a central growth factor for the company. Turnover outside of Sweden increased by 29 percent to SEK 67.1 million during the financial year. The group as a whole had a turnover of SEK 245.7 million and reported an operating profit of SEK 16 million.

Michael Ahlén, founder and majority owner of Vuxen Group, comments on the CEO change and leadership during the expansion of recent years.

Tobias has been driving the development of the company and our international business. I respect his decision and am grateful that he will stay on until the end of the year and ensure an orderly handover, says Michael Ahlén.

Vuxen Group states that the company will communicate who is taking over the CEO position as soon as a formal decision has been made.
