Sarkan Rahim, Head of B2B at Elgiganten, comments on the development:
Companies want to avoid cumbersome and time-consuming purchasing processes. Whether it's equipping a new workplace, carrying out a major project or solving an urgent need, it should be easy to do business with Elgiganten Företag. By offering the same high availability in our warehouses as online, we have found a model that the market demands.
Growth is noted in all product categories. IT and telecom account for the largest part, where sales of business computers have increased by 66 percent. Segments such as kitchen, white goods and operational equipment are also increasing, with robot vacuum cleaners growing by 52 percent, for example.
The company has also signed new long-term agreements with actors such as LRF Samköp AB, Samköpsgruppen Sverige AB and K-Fastigheter. Furthermore, circular services are offered through the Trade-in program, which aims to extend the lifespan of equipment as well as reduce companies' total costs and carbon footprint.
The strong increase in growth and interest is also reflected in the number of subscribers to the Elgiganten Företag newsletter, which has grown by 80 percent during the year, the company writes.
Growth within B2B is happening at a time when the parent company Elkjøp Nordic recently reported a total turnover of over 50 billion Norwegian kroner for the same financial year. E-commerce accounts for about one third of this turnover. The Swedish operation is the group's largest market and accounted for a turnover of approximately 17.5 billion Swedish kronor. From August 1, 2026, the Nordic group will be led by Niclas Eriksson, who was previously CEO of the Swedish operation.
