During the second quarter, Sweden Buyersclub increased its turnover by 30 percent, reaching SEK 29.6 million. At the same time, operating profit was positive, amounting to SEK 273,000, compared to a loss of SEK 562,000 during the same period last year.

In the report, the company's CEO Emil Henriksson writes that the subscription model continues to grow and that the new initiative towards B2B has resulted in a first agreement. He further states that the plan for future acquisitions is based on the company's current model, and that they now have both capital and premises to move the strategy forward.

The direction is clear, and I find it hard to imagine a more interesting position to run this company in.

To finance the continued business plan, including the warehouse relocation and acquisition strategy, the e-commerce retailer carried out a preferential rights issue which concluded in August. The outcome shows that the company is being supplied with SEK 27 million.

New Head of Warehouse

On September 1, Buyersclub will gain access to the new warehouse facility in Västerås, measuring 12,000 square meters. In connection with this, Camilla Wikman will join as the new Logistics Manager in mid-September.

She comes from a role as Operations Manager at Adlibris and has previously worked as a Warehouse Manager within the ICA Group. In her new role, she will be responsible for operational management and develop the company's logistics model, which combines own warehousing with direct supplier flows.

It will be exciting to step into a business that is growing so quickly and that has already built a modern technical platform. Also getting to start up the new premises from scratch makes me really excited. My focus will be clear flows, high delivery reliability and a team that grows together, says Camilla Wikman.
