During the 2025 financial year, Astrid Lindgren Butiken AB, the company that operates the e-commerce business, generated a turnover of 19 million Swedish krona. This represents an increase of 69 percent compared to the previous year, when turnover was 11.2 million Swedish krona.

The operating result for 2025 amounted to minus 4.5 million Swedish krona. This is a reduction in the loss of 15 percent compared to 2024, when the operating result was minus 5.3 million Swedish krona.

The business, led by CEO Linnea Westerlund, launched over 400 new products during the past year. The company has also spent time developing various features in its e-commerce platform to make it easier for visitors.

This development, along with digital advertising in Germany, is said to have resulted in over 28,000 new customers.

The workforce has been expanded to handle order volumes. According to the annual report, the average number of employees was three. The company is constantly reviewing how it can reach more recipients in different formats.

In a media world that is currently changing at a high speed, the opportunities are endless, and we spend a lot of time finding the right channels and expressions for Astrid Lindgren's works in new formats, the company writes.
