Lager 157 opens its largest store in the world at Erikslund in Västerås

Over 4,000 square meters.

The clothing chain Lager 157 is expanding in Västerås and is now opening what will be the company's largest store in the world to date. By more than doubling the current area at Erikslund, the company is taking the next step in its continued physical expansion.

On August 27th, the new store spanning 4,402 square meters will be inaugurated.

Lager 157 has had a presence in Västerås for some time and is now choosing to expand its space in the exact same building on Hallsta Gårdsgata. The increased area gives the company space to present its range more clearly, create smoother flows within the premises, and accommodate a larger number of visitors.

Västerås has been a good location for us for a long time. Customers find their way here and we have a strong team on site. When we had the opportunity to grow in the same building, it was quite simple. We are building on what already works, with more space for our products and to meet more customers in person, says Jonas Ivarsson, Growth Manager at Lager 157.

Physical Stores a Central Part

The expansion step in Västerås means that the new location becomes the company's largest to date. Expanding its presence in this way is part of the company's strategy to grow in several different markets, where the physical store plays a central role in customer interaction.

We believe in simplicity. Good products at good prices, in stores where it should be easy to find what you need. It really doesn't need to be any more complicated than that. Now we have more space and can do what we already do a little better, says Jonas Ivarsson.
