Over the past year, the e-commerce platform's turnover increased by 16 percent, reaching SEK 626 million. The bottom line result landed at SEK 79 million.
Since the management team acquired the company from Paypal five years ago, the business has generated a profit. This has led to the owners repeatedly distributing capital. In 2023, SEK 20 million was distributed, and the following year the amount was SEK 50 million. Based on the latest financial statements for 2025, the dividend has now doubled.
Tradera continues to develop very strongly and the company is on a stable financial footing. Against this background, the annual general meeting decided on a dividend of SEK 100 million to the shareholders," says Erik Grohman, CEO of Tradera, to the website.
Ownership structure
The largest portion of the money goes to former CEO Stefan Öberg, who today owns 36 percent of the shares. Venture capital firm Ceder Capital, which invested in the company in 2022 at a valuation of just over SEK 900 million, owns approximately 30 percent.
The rest of the platform is largely owned by other members of management, with the CFO, product manager and marketing manager each owning just over nine percent. The ownership group has previously discussed a future sale or listing of the company.
