E-commerce group Online Brands Nordic, which owns brands such as Kitchenlab, Tanrevel and Frank Dandy, is currently experiencing a busy period. Last week, the company announced that its logistics operations will be consolidated in a 24,695 square meter facility in Falkenberg, initially creating 50 new jobs.

Amidst this establishment, the person who led the work is now choosing to leave their position.

A Transition Period Awaits

The decision marks the end of a long period within the company for the CEO, who has seen his entrepreneurial businesses integrated into a larger structure. He will not be leaving the position immediately. To ensure that daily operations are not affected while the board searches for a replacement, he will remain in place until a new leader is found.

Since I founded Trendcarpet and Hatshop in 2010, it has been a fantastic journey. What started with two entrepreneurial businesses has over time become part of a significantly larger group with several strong brands and companies. I am incredibly proud of what we have built together and that Online Brands Nordic today has strong growth, good profitability and a good platform for continued development, says Magnus Skoglund.

It now feels like a natural time for me to pass on the baton and for a new CEO to take Online Brands through the next phase. I would like to extend a big thank you to all employees, the board and our owners for very good cooperation over the years. During the coming period, my full focus will be on the business and ensuring a good handover to my successor.

The board is immediately initiating the recruitment process to find the person who will steer the e-commerce group forward.

His entrepreneurship, commitment and drive have been of great importance to the journey the company has made. Under his leadership, Online Brands Nordic has grown strongly, completed several strategically important acquisitions and built a platform for continued profitable growth. On behalf of the board, I would like to extend a big thank you to Magnus for his significant contributions over the years. We are also pleased that Magnus will remain during a transition period to ensure continuity and an orderly handover, says David Rönnberg, Chairman of the Board.
