Online Brands Nordic, currently headquartered in Gothenburg and owning e-commerce companies such as Kitchenlab, Tanrevel and Frank Dandy, is now making an investment southward.

A ten-year lease agreement has been signed with property owner Laustea. The agreement concerns a new logistics facility that will measure 24,695 square meters. Construction will begin in the autumn and occupancy is planned for the autumn of 2027.

The new facility is an important step in Online Brands Nordic's continued development. By consolidating our warehousing and logistics operations in one place, we are creating conditions for more efficient logistics flows, a more cost-effective operation and a scalable structure for continued growth. Falkenberg also gives us a strategic logistical location for our transport flows and good connections to our export markets, says Magnus Skoglund, CEO of Online Brands Nordic.

Room for more jobs

The building will be equipped with solar panels on the roof and certified according to the Miljöbyggnad Silver standard. Initially, the move will result in approximately 50 people being employed in Falkenberg. In the long term, the e-commerce group plans to gradually move in more central functions into the facility, as the company acquires more brands and grows.

From Falkenberg municipality's side, the news is received with positive reactions. The hope is that the establishment will broaden the local labor market.

It is welcome that a well-established company with clear expansion plans chooses Falkenberg. The establishment contributes to broadening both the business community and the labor market in the municipality, says Business Development Manager Emma Carlström.

The Chairman of the Municipal Board, Per Svensson, agrees with this view.

The establishment is important for Falkenberg's development. It creates new jobs and strengthens our local business community. We want more companies to be able to grow here, and therefore we are actively working to create good conditions for establishments throughout the municipality, he says.
