The company Criss Bellini was registered in 2020 and is headquartered in Helsingborg. The business idea arose from frustration with the available options in wall art, where the choices often lay between simple mass prints and expensive gallery works. The solution was to combine urban culture with traditional artistic expressions and offer the works exclusively through its own online store.
I was tired of having to choose between cheap posters and overpriced artwork, so I found a middle ground. By creating my own original art and offering it exclusively on my website, I can offer unique and affordable pieces that stand out from mass production. Each piece is made in a limited edition, and once it's sold out, it's gone forever," writes founder Admir Karat on his website.
The company has chosen a model without resellers and without replenishing sold-out designs. All works are delivered with a certificate of authenticity and shipped to customers around the world directly from Sweden.
Increased turnover and rising profits
In the company's annual report for the financial year 2025, it appears that interest in the brand continued to grow. During the period, turnover amounted to 23.9 million Swedish krona. This compares to 22.4 million Swedish krona in the previous year, representing an increase of 6.8 percent.
Profitability is also trending upwards. Operating profit for 2025 landed at 8.5 million Swedish krona. In 2024, the same figure was 7 million Swedish krona, corresponding to an increase in operating profit of 22 percent.
The company's operating margin thus amounted to 35.5 percent during the latest financial year.
Acquired by e-commerce group
The stable growth and profit history have not gone unnoticed.
In mid-July 2026, it became clear that the e-commerce group Vetted Assets is acquiring 70 percent of the shares in Criss Bellini. The preliminary purchase price landed at 25 million Swedish krona, with an option to purchase the remaining 30 percent within five years.
Vetted Assets already owns the e-commerce retailer Andy Okay, which operates in the same segment.
The acquisition of Criss Bellini is the group's second acquisition since its inception. Over the past seven years, Criss Bellini has generated profits of over 40 million Swedish krona, and founder and CEO Admir Karat has previously declined external buyers.
Vetted Assets offers a partner with extensive experience in building and scaling successful e-commerce companies. I am confident that together we can take Criss Bellini to the next level," commented Admir Karat in connection with the deal.
The acquisition was financed through a new issue of 15 million Swedish krona and an external bank loan of 20 million Swedish krona.
