In the autumn of 2025, it emerged that Mantle, with owners including Cristina Stenbeck and H&M, had filed a police report against a former employee for embezzling a total of 11.5 million Swedish krona. The internal investigation indicated that the employee was suspected of "abusing their position" and that "the method was sophisticated and systematic". The fraud was discovered through errors in the reported VAT for 2024 and transactions from 2023.
In the company's newly released annual report for 2025, it appears how the repayments are progressing. During the financial year, the company has recovered 2.8 million Swedish krona from the former employee. Furthermore, a shareholding belonging to the person has been settled through a redemption of shares worth just under 1.8 million Swedish krona. The company also announces that after the end of the financial year, it has recovered an additional 1.2 million Swedish krona.

The business, which conducts sales through the e-commerce platform mantleskin.com and through retailers, continued to grow in 2025. Net sales increased by 12.5 percent to 80.5 million Swedish krona. Profitability also showed an improvement, with operating profit going from minus 27.1 million Swedish krona in 2024 to minus 17.6 million Swedish krona in 2025.
To strengthen its finances, the company carried out a new issue during the financial year with a total value of 24.9 million Swedish krona. This sum includes the redemption of a previously issued convertible bond of 14.2 million Swedish krona.
