In 2024, Axel Arigato had a revenue of SEK 1 billion. The 2025 annual report shows a decline in figures. Revenue decreases by 13 percent, landing at SEK 913 million.
At the same time, the operating loss grows to minus SEK 70 million, compared to minus SEK 59 million the previous year. The result is affected by write-downs of SEK 90 million.
New Strategy for E-commerce and Markets
Several changes were made within the company at the beginning of the year.
The headquarters were moved from London to Gothenburg and co-founder Albin Johansson left the role of CEO to work as chairman. Frédéric Serrant then took over as CEO.

In connection with this, the e-commerce retailer is revising its global strategy.
To manage future growth, Axel Arigato chooses to invest in new IT systems. The company is expanding its presence in the USA and the United Arab Emirates, while the subsidiaries in Shanghai and Hong Kong are being phased out.
Historically, the company has faced challenges with its physical ventures outside of Sweden.
