Linn Rundgren has been appointed new CEO of Stellar Equipment and will begin her assignment on August 1, 2026. She most recently comes from a role as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at investment company Bucky Studios.

The company's current CEO and co-founder, John Crawford-Currie, will simultaneously transition to the role of Founder & Chief Brand Officer. In his new function, he will focus on branding, product direction, and creative direction.

Linn Rundgren founded Babyshop at the age of 24 and developed the business into a global e-commerce company over a fifteen-year period. After her time at Babyshop, she worked as a consultant for Business Sweden in New York, where she helped establish Stellar Equipment's American company.

The future lies with brands with a strong identity and a clear relationship with their customers, says Linn Rundgren in a press release.

Stellar is one of the few companies in the category that actually ticks both boxes, as well as having an international potential that is not fully utilized. I look forward to scaling it further.

Financial Background

The leadership change comes after a period of declining sales volumes for the Åre-based company. During the broken fiscal year 2024/2025 (July–June), the group's turnover fell from almost SEK 138 million to SEK 129 million. It was the second year in a row that sales declined, which the company has attributed to the economic climate in several key markets.

At the same time, the company has reduced its losses; operating profit improved during the same fiscal year from SEK -8.4 million to SEK -5.5 million. Management has previously communicated that it prioritizes black figures over growth.
