I look forward to contributing my experience in financial management and corporate development in the next phase of the company's journey, says Eva Nilsagård.

Executive from the Clothing Giant

The other new addition to the board is Johan Lundgren. He returned to H&M in 2024, where he currently works as Head of Strategy and Innovation. His career within the fashion group began in 2008, and he has held leading positions in sales and business development locally and globally. Before returning to the clothing company, he worked as Chief Operating Officer at Fortnox.

I have long been impressed by Apotea's strong customer focus, its innovative power and its clear social responsibility. The company is on a very exciting journey and I look forward to contributing to its continued development together with the board and management, says Johan Lundgren.

Focusing on Growth

According to the online pharmacy, the recruitments are being made to focus on innovation, corporate governance and long-term growth. In recent years, the company has expanded its operations, including through the Norwegian subsidiary Apotera, which was launched in 2022.

Board Chairman Cecilia Qvist welcomes the additions:

We are very pleased to welcome Eva and Johan to the Apotea board. They bring valuable experience and strengthen the board for Apotea's continued growth, she says.

The online pharmacy's CEO, Pär Svärdson, adds:

Eva and Johan complement the business very well with their expertise in finance, strategy and business development. We look forward to working together in the future.
