At the annual general meeting, the decision was made to appoint Minna Carlberg, Sales Market Manager at H&M Sverige AB, and Anders Engström, CEO of Alewalds Sport Aktiebolag, as new members of the Swedish Trade Federation's board.

Nina Jönsson, Chairman of the Swedish Trade Federation, commented on the additions during the meeting:

It is pleasing to welcome Minna and Anders to the Swedish Trade Federation’s board today. I am convinced that with their industry knowledge and experience they will contribute to the continued work of putting Sweden on the map as a trading nation.

Anders Engström highlights the importance of giving Swedish trading companies the right conditions in a market that extends beyond the country's borders.

Trade plays an important role for Sweden’s economy and employment, and therefore it is crucial that Swedish trading companies are given good opportunities to grow and compete in an increasingly global market,” says Anders Engström.

Minna Carlberg agrees and emphasizes that the industry must continue to adapt to customer behavior.

It feels both honorable and inspiring to become part of the Swedish Trade Federation’s board. Trade has always been about people – about meeting needs, creating experiences and at the same time developing in line with the surrounding world,” says Minna Carlberg.

In connection with the election of the new members, Göran Westerberg and Henrik Kroon were also thanked as they now leave their assignments on the Swedish Trade Federation’s board.
