This week, Apotea hosted Prince Daniel's Fellowship and the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA)'s Business Advisory Council. The visit took place at the company's automated logistics center in Morgongåva. The agenda primarily revolved around innovation, the future of entrepreneurship, and the infrastructure of e-commerce.

Participants received a presentation on how investments in logistics and automation have shaped the online pharmacy's operations since its inception.

It all starts with an idea. But for ideas to grow, courage, curiosity, and people who dare to try new paths are needed. It feels very rewarding to welcome Prince Daniel's Fellowship to Morgongåva and share our journey, says Apotea's CEO Pär Svärdson.

Prince Daniel's Fellowship is an initiative that works to inspire young people to entrepreneurship and contribute to the creation of more companies in Sweden.

The visit to Morgongåva coincides with a period of growth for Apotea. As Ehandel.se previously reported, the company's turnover increased by 10.5 percent to SEK 1.94 billion during the first quarter of 2026. Operating profit for the same period amounted to SEK 101.3 million. The company has recently also begun expanding its beauty and health range to the Norwegian market.

While the facility in Morgongåva has been central to the company's growth, the new Norwegian distribution is taking place from Apotea's logistics center in Varberg. From there, more than a third of the online pharmacy's shipments are delivered today, and the facility has been scaled up during the quarter to handle 27,000 packages per day.
