One of the adjustments is that the Varubrev service will be renamed to PostNord Home Small. In connection with this, the maximum weight for shipments will be increased to 3 kilograms. The add-on service for printing labels, Print Label, will also be made available for PostNord Home Small and PostNord Home Small Prio. The previous separate return management will be discontinued and replaced by return solutions within PostNord Return. Regarding the name change, PostNord communicates the following:
As part of our Nordic offering, we are simplifying things for you as a customer by consolidating our smaller home deliveries directly to the mailbox or door under a common name.
Shorter Holding Period
For deliveries to parcel lockers, the normal holding period will be shortened to three days. The change is planned to be introduced in September 2026 and means that the recipient can extend the holding period to up to seven days via the company's application.

The existing add-on service for a fixed holding period of seven days will therefore be discontinued from the special conditions for a number of delivery services. PostNord describes the background to the measure:
We are shortening the holding period in our parcel lockers to increase rotation and create faster flows.
The holding period may even be shorter than three days during certain periods:
During periods of high load, the holding period may temporarily be shorter to ensure fast deliveries.
Extending the holding period will initially be free of charge.
New Rules for Denmark
For e-commerce companies selling to the Danish market, restrictions are being introduced regarding letter shipments. It is no longer permitted to send goods in letters without a barcode to Denmark. Affected services, such as 1st class letters abroad, will henceforth only contain documents. For light goods up to 2 kg, e-commerce companies are instead referred to the PostNord Tracked Letter service.
Adjustments to Other Services
In addition to this, name changes are being made to digital tools, where the PostNord Portal Business platform is being renamed Företagsportalen and Skicka Direkt Business is changing its name to Skapa Fraktsedlar.
The logistics operator clarifies the requirements for telephone numbers to companies when addressing pallets and revises its descriptions regarding prohibited content for a number of services, specifically regarding weapons, weapon parts and ammunition.
