At the end of February, the e-commerce retailer lowered the price of a selection of goods related to the upcoming Easter holiday. Already during the first week with the new prices, sales reached 94 million Norwegian kroner. This makes the week the company's second most revenue-generating, just after a week during last year's Christmas shopping.
When March closed, turnover had exceeded 400 million Norwegian kroner.
10 Million Items
During March, 10 million products were picked and shipped from the central warehouse in Lier. A total of 100,000 unique customers shopped during the month.
This means that the number of active customers was at the same level as in week 51 in December, a period usually characterized by a high volume of orders for e-commerce retailers in the grocery sector.
