In connection with the annual general meeting in March 2026, Joachim Frykberg was elected to the boards of directors of Jula Holding AB and Jula AB. He held the role of CEO of the companies until 2021 and has since gained experience from board assignments in companies such as Svedbergs, Nordic Garden Group and Fjäråskupan. Now he is back to support management's work with future growth.

A Familiar Collaboration
The group's owners are optimistic about reconnecting. The history between the owner and the newly appointed board member spans over two decades.
During that time, the company built much of its current structure, from physical department stores to today's e-commerce solutions.

Experiences from Other Industries
The main character emphasizes that the years outside the organization have given him new perspectives from other companies. His new assignment involves applying these insights in the retailer's boardroom, as well as a reunion with former colleagues within the company.
It feels fantastic to have the opportunity to return to Jula and Jula Holding in a new role and be part of the expansive journey the group continues to make.
