Joakim Larsson comes from Airmee, where he most recently held the position of Head of Operations. During his time at the company, he has also held positions as Head of Terminals & Dispatch and Dispatch Manager, with responsibility for the operation and development of both terminal and distribution operations. Prior to that, he worked as a production and transport manager focusing on last mile at Postnord Sweden.
With his broad experience from both established players and rapidly growing logistics companies, DSV is gaining a leader with a strong focus on efficiency, quality and the development of future parcel deliveries, the company states in a press release.
Continued Focus on E-commerce
The appointment comes shortly after the legal integration between DSV and Schenker in Sweden was completed on February 1, 2026. The merger meant, among other things, that Schenker's brand was replaced by DSV as a delivery option in e-commerce checkouts.
In connection with the integration, DSV announced that e-commerce remains an important segment for the new group. Following the merger, the company is one of the major players in the Swedish market with 13 warehouses, approximately 5,000 employees and a presence in 57 locations.
