Delivery platform Wolt announces it is replacing country managers in both Sweden and Norway. In Sweden, Linda Fors will take over as Country Manager and Marketplace Director. She succeeds Johan Grönvall, who is leaving the company after four years for other assignments.
Linda Fors most recently comes from the role of Marketplace Director at Blocket and has a background with 15 years of experience from the media industry. In her new role at Wolt, she will be responsible for strategy and business development for the Swedish market.
Wolt has built a strong position, and there are great opportunities ahead. I am particularly looking forward to continuing to develop our offering, strengthening Wolt's position in retail media and working closely with our teams, says Linda Fors.
Reorganization Across The Nordics
At the same time, leadership changes are taking place in neighboring Norway. Mattis Bergh, with a background as a partner at The North Alliance, is stepping in as the new country manager for Wolt in Norway. He will also be responsible for the Marketplace business area in Iceland.
In connection with this, the former Norwegian country manager Elisabeth Stenersen is promoted to a new regional role as Head of Marketplace North. She will thus have overall commercial responsibility for nine countries, including the Nordics, the Baltics and Luxembourg.
Linda has a strong combination of expertise in marketplaces, strategic acumen and commercial leadership. She is very well suited to lead Wolt Sweden into the next chapter, says Elisabeth Stenersen about the Swedish recruitment.
Regarding the handover in Norway, Stenersen adds:
I am proud of what we have accomplished in Norway since the start, and it feels very right to pass the baton to Mattis.
Mattis Bergh comments on his new assignment:
