The newly started company BDA, which is an abbreviation for "before, during, after", will offer a range of sex toys, condoms, lubricants and intimate wipes. The goal is to sell the goods with minimalist packaging at lower prices.

The company's market focus is on the USA, as the founder believes the Swedish market is too small and has a too pharmacy-like orientation.

I will not be operational and in the middle of the business, but there are others who will run it, says Ryan Looysen to the site.

On the board of the new company, the CEO is joined by a colleague from the Go North sphere. Lovisa Ahlm, Head of Business Development at Go North Group, is namely a deputy board member.

Production and Financing

The range will be manufactured in factories in the USA, China and Malaysia. The business idea is based on making it easier for people to get close to each other. The company has already raised capital from Swedish financiers, but the exact amounts and names of the investors have not been made public.

Go North, the company that Ryan Looysen leads on a daily basis, is undergoing a reconstruction after previously taking out a loan of 500 million Swedish kronor to acquire 38 different e-commerce companies. Currently, the group of companies has new owners and a new board.

I am 1000 percent in Go North, that's where my focus lies and there is still a lot of work to be done there, says Ryan Looysen.

BDA AB was registered at the end of 2025 and does not yet appear to have launched a website.
