Ehandel.se has previously written on several occasions about how Power's store openings have attracted large numbers of customers, for example when a department store generated 1.2 million Swedish krona in one hour or when another reached 10 million Swedish krona during a single day. Now the pattern is repeated in Högsbo.

Beats Previous Records

At seven o'clock in the morning on March 26th, it was time to welcome customers to the renovated store. Preparations for the day included setting up extra cash registers to handle the customer flow efficiently. The chain's CEO Magnus Kreuger was on site during the morning to follow the work.

This is the strongest opening hour for a rebuilt store in Power Sweden's history! We even beat the crazy opening party in Barkarby. It's incredible to see the pressure we have from customers and the commitment the team delivers, says Magnus Kreuger.

Early Queue Outside the Entrance

The department store in Högsbo is one of the chain's larger facilities in the country. Even before the staff were on site to make the final preparations, customers had begun to gather waiting for the doors to open. Store manager Bobo Zivkovic was met by the crowd early in the morning before sunrise.

Already when I arrived at 04:30 there were at least 50 people in line, it's incredibly fun that so many people came, says Bobo Zivkovic.

Sales in the store reached 1.8 million Swedish krona during the first hour.
